How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I’m really confused. They are saying the winnings are $148 for the last round, but I’ve only had $80 in winnings?

I paid $240 up front and won every round. My total winnings are $282.75, so a net gain of $42.75. I thought it would be more, but just happy to have lost the weight. I hate losing money, so that was my incentive more than the payout. It still does seem like a very small payout. Basically $7 winning for every $40 bet monthly.

The New Year's game usually has highly motivated players, which causes lower returns.

They also call the entire amount you get back winnings, even though it includes your own payments. Then again, it would have been a full loss if you hadn't met your goals. The opposite of a loss is winnings, maybe that's the logic behind it.
