How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Soy chicken salad for an easy Mother’s Day lunch! Also did 15 min yoga this morning as a recovery day.

Looks great!

To answer your question, most of the time weighing food is based on raw/dry or uncooked weights. If you're using a tracker, like MyFitnessPal, it'll usually default to the raw or dry weights, though you'll sometimes see "as prepared" which means to look at the label of the product.

But in general, 6 oz chicken breast is assumed to be raw, unless otherwise specified. 2 oz pasta noodles is 2 oz precooked, which once cooked would be substantially heavier.

Hope this helps!
