  • Grocery haul today to start the week off right! One thing I've learned about eating healthy is it doesn't have to always be expensive, especially when I used to eat out for almost every meal which cost me thousands of calories + money! Plan your meals around sales, stock up when prices are low to freeze, & try new things! Today i got ground turkey, lean beef, chicken drumsticks, pork chops, Greek yogurt, dates, brussel sprouts & more! Honestly I also try to shop the perimeter of the store when I can also. Whats your best tip for healthy options at the grocery store?

I always have stock, canned beans (black, kindey, garbonzo etc), crushed and fire roasted tomatoes in the pantry. I keep ground beef, ground turkey, turkey breast and thighs in the freezer. As well as always have onions, carrots, celery, berries (blackberries, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries), non fat greek yogurt and protein powder. These are staples that keep me on track and I can always make some kind of high protein, high fiber and low calorie meal.
