  • Hey everyone! I’m excited to start this game! I’m trying to lose 30-35 pounds while also adding a lot of muscle mass, getting fit and toned! I need accountability and community!!! My main focus is on what I eat now because I have been so bad since Thanksgiving (“it’s just today… tomorrow I’ll be back to my healthy lifestyle” cheating mentality that took me down a slippery slope…. who can relate?!!:)

    Anyway, I already do barre and Pilates 3-4 times per week, but I guess that is not helping me build muscle so I’m going to add strength training now. Weights and HIT… Any piece of advice for a beginner doing strength training is welcome! I don’t want to injure myself but I am interested in maximizing my time meaning structuring it in such a way that I gain muscle and do enough reps and sets. I just don’t know how!

Its so easy to do if you let your guard down! We build healthy habits but they slip away so easily! I want to lose about 20-25 lbs. I think after this 6 month diet bet, I need to take part in those "maintenance" bets! Because I clearly need to be accountable to someone other than myself. Lol
