How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hi all! Sharing my journey to stay motivated! I was working on my weight loss goals but I got a concussion in April that contributed to even more weight gain due to decreased exercise and increased food. When I started feeling better I got excited and was on point for about 7 weeks! I had gotten my weight under 160 (and was gaining muscle) which I was so excited about! 💪 But travel and life (injury flair up and illness) got me a little off track again and I got back up to 165.8. Once I was feeling better I was motivated to get back under 160 and joined this transformer!! After the last week and a half I reached that goal! 🎉 (I’m assuming some of that weight gain was water weight). I am grateful to be back where I was before my little slip up! I want to keep that momentum going and work more towards my ultimate weight losd goal so I recently joined a Kickstarter too. I think that’s going to be much harder now that I already lost that water weight. But I’m excited to be on this weight loss journey with you all! Would love to hear your stories! ?

Ruth A, sounds like you are doing a great job! I would definitely see any weight loss as an accomplishment for sure! Some weeks you will lose more than others. Sugar is tough! When I do eat sweets I crave it nonstop! I’ve never been great at moderation when it comes to sweets. Not sure if your sugar addiction is similar. But it sounds like you are working really hard and staying on track now! :muscle: I hope you reach your goal and find a way to maintain it!

Shanquilla A, I am so sorry to hear that something devastating happened. I am glad that you are back on track. I am definitely an emotional eater too. I made a list of alternative options to when I’m stressed. But it’s so hard to. I hope we both reach our goal weights and find better ways to manage our stress so we can maintain our goal weight! I see all your posts and it sounds like you are doing great! And your post about sleep have been motivating me to have better sleep habits! We’ve got this! :muscle:
