Good Morning Team

Happy Monday! Well we made it.. final day to kick some ass and get to goal. You do have a few days after official end date to get your weight submitted so if you need an extra day take advantage of it. Pay attention to your game page and there will be a countdown clock showing you how long you have to weigh in.

I weighed in this morning at 217 so I am 1 lb from goal. Can’t believe it. Fingers crossed today is a good day with work and I’m able to walk on my lunch break and after work as well.

Over the weekend I did eat more food than I had planned but I think my workouts evened me out. I was nervous. Life is super stressful right now for Vince and I but I am really trying to push through for myself and not give up. Keeping myself accountable and doing a February game as well that will start on Monday 2/10. That will be the real test of commitment lol you know as we continue to lose weight it does become harder to meet these goals but again, dedication to myself will get me where I want to be.

I added MyFitnessPal calorie tracker and have consistently updated since day one of DietBet (which is a huge thing for me). I try to stay within 1500 cals a day. This is an arbitrary number based upon what I think I’m supposed to have. If anyone has any recommendations on how to more accurately calculate, I’m open!
Did 10k steps yesterday during a beautiful hike and logged 4 HIIT workouts last week. I’m feeling good. I need to get better with my water intake.

Go to TDEE.com. It's super easy at helping calculate your calories and is specific to each individual. You just put in your info and goals, and it calculates everything for you.

  • Happy New Year! Hope everyone is having a great relaxing first day of the year.

    Day 1 🎉 we went out last night and had a great time with our close friends. Rang in the New Year but now back to reality Vince and I are headed to the grocery store to get food for the week. I probably should get into the meal prep lifestyle again even if it’s only for this month.

    I’ll be posting here and on our IG dietbet page @isfrannyfityetdietbet make sure you’re following there if you’d like.

    So plan for today is grocery shop, get a treadmill workout in and cook some food for the week.

Mackenzie K and Amy... I totally agree!! I am at my heaviest, right now. Franny, you were definitely one of my motivating factors when I got down to my goal in 2021. I need to get back there and stay there! I'm looking forward to a better lifestyle! Thank you, Franny, for hosting! :muscle:

I submitted my weigh in. I live in a very tiny house so getting a space big enough to get the “full body” angle meant I had to balance my phone on a shoe that was halfway in and halfway out of a drawer….and had to remove my bras from their hooks on the back of my door. Yay.
