  • Its been a busy day & eating out would have been easier as tired as i was, but I got goals to reach in 2026! I had already planned ahead to have steak tonight so I stuck to the plan & it was even more delicious! Sometimes planning ahead can save us from giving into those situations. What'd you have for dinner?

A turkey burger & peas. I need some good recipes so I don’t get bored.

  • I am already 45% to my goal for this bet! 😱 I started Weight Watchers on December 28th and I’m down 9 lbs. I know a lot is water weight/swelling, but it still feels good. My ring used to be very loose on my finger. Can’t wait to get back there again.

This is my third time facing the need for significant weight loss. I have hypothyroidism and metabolic issues. The first time I tried to lose the weight was to prepare for my wedding. I lost over 70 lbs from 2016-2017. The second time was postpartum after my first child. I lost over 100 lbs from 2020-2021. I’m now postpartum from my second child. We are done having kids and I want to lose the weight for good. I turn 40 in August, just a few weeks after I finish grad school and earn my master’s degree. Here’s to making 2026 the best year of my life!

Way to go ! Start weight training if you aren’t already ! They say that the most important years to start exercising is in our 40s . I just turned 42 few days a go and have been doing dumbbells since last year.
