When I join a normal Dietbet without a host I know exactly what I'm signing up for. When I sign up for an Ilana's one I was expecting weekly calls, questions to her to be answered and not to have to buy some extra external program and seeing daily posts reminding me I'm not part of some elite club.

She gets a huge cut from Dietbet for hosting. This is only because of the large numbers that sign up for the support people have come to expect from her. What she has done is unethical.

I am happy to say I lost the weight despite the lack of support, though

I was really disappointed as well. I feel like we were left high and dry. I had such a good experience with the other one.

Spiced Turmeric Hot Cocoa
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups your favorite plant milk
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ginger (powder, can add more or less to taste)
½ Tbsp cinnamon (can add more or less for taste)
½ Tbsp cacao powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp maple syrup
Dash of cloves (I didn’t ass this)
Crack of black pepper (Do not skip! Black pepper activates the curcumin in the turmeric and increases absorption.)

Instructions:
Heat up your milk of choice on the stove.
Once it is slightly warmed, add the rest of the ingredients and whisk them until combined. Adjust the spices to your taste!
If you have a frother, heat up some extra milk to froth for on top. Pour into your favorite glass or mug and enjoy!
