Final day!!!!
I wanted to share this with everyone in hopes of it helping them. In November I was getting super discouraged- nothing seemed to make the scale moved. I ended up going to my health insurance portal and started playing around. I stumbled upon an app/program I qualified for called, DigBi. It was 100% free to me and it’s been a game changer. They send you a food guide and help tweak your meals to make sure your body is getting everything it needs. It’s given me a better idea of what eating health truly means vs just calorie counting. I can confidently say I no longer have “food noises” just waiting for my next meal. I’m not a picky eater so I don’t feel limited- I can say if you don’t like mushrooms kale or spinach it will be hard for you. It doesn’t help with workout but it’s helped a ton with diet

The scale is such a frustrating thing. I was about 1 lb below goal for like 2 days, now I’m 1 lb above goal. I’m trying to be good these last couple days and hoping that the scale will swing back the other direction in time for weigh-in.

This game has helped me stay focused! Seeing a community of people that are all trying to achieve the same thing! Having such a large support system is truly motivation in itself! I wasn’t feeling a workout at all today but this challenge pushed me to get it done!

Hi everyone, First let me tell y’all that you are INSPIRING and I’m grateful to be in this diet bet. Started out strong… new year adrenaline and all. Then third week in and my weight crept up and motivation went down. So not gonna meet my goal BUT I was able to lose a little weight and maintain. Here’s to creating healthy habits!!

Franny, first of all, thank you, for always being as transparent as you are and for encouraging others, even when things are feeling hard personally. I needed the push and accountability for a fresh start (healthwise) to the year and the day I made my mind up, I saw your IG story about DietBets. This game has helped me stay accountable and strong to the promises I made and it feels so nice to follow through with something like this as it gave me something to focus on, other than the current worldy events! I was able to remind myself that I can only control what I can control and its helped me so much during the longest January ever. I recently changed to high protein diet and have a planned calorie deficit. I am working out 30 minutes a day and clocking 11k+ steps 26/27 days so far in January! I reached my diet bet goal yesterday by over a pound but woke up today a lb up so hopefully I'll be back down by weigh ins!😅 We have a few more days left friends! Let's make the most of it! Super proud of you all! All of your posts made it feel like we were all in this together and that felt great!

This game helped me so much! Lots of football both college and pro and going to peoples houses and eating bad food! But not me, I limited what I ate and only had wine so I was able to stay on track. Without this challenge, I would have eaten it all!

  • This morning my trainer gave me this workout to do. Telling you so you can try it and continue on your weight loss journey.
    10 jumping jacks
    10 squats
    10 push-ups (I did ones on the knees)
    Do it for 15 minutes, no stopping and keep track of how many rounds you can do. I did 8 rounds!!
    Folks that is 80 jumping jacks, 80 squats and 80 push-ups in 15 minutes! Great workout! I thought it was going to be easy when I saw a 15 min workout. Lol
    I also follow WW and I am a Lifetime member but currently over goal. I track all my food and stay within my points and I have lost 8.8lbs this January so far and I have made goal for this dietbet by .2. So I am hoping I can continue to stay here or lose more. Lol. To close. I have done these many of times and have lost by .4 before. It's all part of it.
    At the end of the day, I am getting stronger by lifting weights, I'm down on the scale, I am controlling my food choices more, I call that a win!!
    This game definitely is helpful as it keeps me accountable! I did the member game where I had to weigh in with my photo. Super helpful.
    Let's finish strong! Everyone don't give up, keep pushing! You got this!

Well I had a wlw but only .1 pound. Usually my weight fluctuates day to day, sometimes by .5 but it trends downward overall when I'm really focusing on my diet. My weight has been the same for a week now despite an intense focus. No sweets, no snacks, meeting my water and calorie goal, increasing my protein and lowering my carbs. I don't know what else to do..last week I thought I had time to lose that last 1.5 pounds but the scale isn't budging! Really frustrated 😟

I flew and surprised one of my long distance besties for her birthday this weekend. I knew I wasn’t gonna be in my best behavior but I was determined to get back on track today. Had a 2 hour layover and rather than sit and doom scroll I walked the airport for 45 min with luggage in hand. Very proud of that choice! Ready to weigh myself tomorrow to see where I’ll be for final weigh ins!

Hi everybody, I’m feeling a bit discouraged because I have one pound left to lose and I’m having my wisdom teeth taken out on Monday so I won’t be able to work out AT ALL after tomorrow. I feel like I definitely could crush the goal if I had the rest of the time!! But I’m not sure now!
