Day one, weigh in complete.
Leaving for work tomorrow, 8 days traveling. Unfortunately my job has shifted to full time again which means traveling 16-19 days per month.

It's a struggle to sleep, minimize stress, eat right, AND exercise consistently under these conditions but I have to try.

At my highest weight in ages and fighting Hashimoto's thyroid issues and perimenopause, so feels like the world is against me.
I have basically given up on finding what works but this year is dedicated to focusing on the big 5:
Sleep, water, nutrition, movement, positivity/ reducing stress.
If there is a miracle and I find factors that work and I start feeling better then that would be AMAZING, but at this point I don't have much hope.
I am just going to make good decisions and count every day with consistency and healthy choices as a winning day.

I am just going to create the foundation for health and not worry about the results. Sometimes you just have to fake it to you make it and do the right thing even if you don't see the rewards.
I refuse to feel discouraged anymore by the scale going up and my clothes being tight.
Sometimes you have to shift your mental perspective to find happiness. If this is the new older me, then it will all be ok.
At least I won't be making choices that harm my body and drag it down.

Hi AJ,

I have a similar story. Thyroid removed (cancer), and have failed so many times. I appreciate your “fake it until you make it “ advice. Let’s forgive ourselves and kick butt this game.
