I won't be hitting the goal weight for this round. Actually, the scale basically didn't move.
I've done dietbets before and used tons of cardio overly strict calorie and food restriction and stressed myself out to squeak by. Then I would crash and burn out because I hate cardio and I gained all my weight back.
This time, I changed my focus to lifting heavy weights with functional movements and only short HIITs, which I love. I have a lot to lose, about 110 lbs, but this diet bet the scale hasn't budged BUT my clothes are fitting better. That's a win for me.
Next round, I'm going to start incorporating 2-3 miles of walking 3-4 days a week. I'm also doing a 5K walk in a couple of weeks. I'm not giving up, I'm just going to keep trusting the process, adjust my macros, and wait for my body to respond.
Congrats to all that won this dietbet! Keep the momentum going. ❤
