Yikes - I’m still under this month’s goal but went up over a pound from my January jumpstart weigh out. Have to get back on track!

I’m in the same boat. I’m hoping to take the win and use it to refocus and motivate for the month ahead! We’ve got this! :raised_hands::muscle:

I also went up after that weigh out. Luckily still under goal.

I’m less than a pound from goal. Going to be really good today and hope the scale cooperates tomorrow! Good luck everyone.

February is always a challenge for me to lose the required weight. With a shorter month and several family birthday events and a work retreat, it’s so hard to hit that goal! I should have a bit of a head start since I lost a little more than the January goal but it’s going to take discipline!

I'm trying not to get upset, but it's hard sometimes. I've been working my butt off these past several weeks. It's probably the hardest I've worked to lose weight and be healthy in my adult life. And I know that I am 100% healthier than I was. But my weight from last week to this week went up 2.5 lbs, and it sucks! I'm still below my goal weight, but it is frustrating not only to have not lost weight but also to have gained it. I hope it's just water retention, and when I do the real weight on Sunday, it'll be back closer to where it was or less than! My sister said, "I think we have to give ourselves grace and know that not every week will be a decrease. No matter what, we are still healthier by staying the course." Just wanted to vent. I know you guys will understand.

Yes Nicki, you're right! I need to focus on NSV as well. My clothes are definitely fitting better!

I spent years focused on my health and had finally gotten to a healthy weight. Then I got a promotion to a super stressful job - my dream job, I thought - my youngest kids started playing all the travel sports, I started having some nagging injuries and 3 years later, I’ve gained 35 lbs and I’m back in the obese category with high blood pressure. Over the holidays I was so sick, working crazy hours trying to meet deadlines, and finally realized if I stay on this path, it’s going to kill me. So here I am, starting over, and strongly considering a career change!

This sounds EXACTLY like me! (Aside from the fact that I haven't been at a healthy weight since before I got pregnant 6 years ago). I accepted a director position last December, and my weight has crept up, I haven't had time to workout all year, I have 3 kids under 6 (so no travel sports, but also no personal time, in general). Last month we had lay offs, so I've been working overtime to make up for the lack of staff. I need a career change, 100%!!! I miss being an individual contribuor. :(
