I have always loved the Jewish High Holy Days.
It's a special time for reflection of the past year and for making plans for the coming year. And reflection often focuses on personal relationships and making a positive difference in the world. I catch up with friends, try to finish projects, and try to take the small stuff more in stride.
As far as my weight loss journey, I'm looking at the progress I've made since last fall - and the falls before that.
And I hope running this group has made a positive impact on at least a few of my fellow journeyers.
It's a perfect time for me to encourage everyone to take stock for a moment. If you've been with me all year, how has it gone? What would you change? What can you let go of?
