Well, I made it when it didn't look possible because of my inability to exercise right now. I decided to fast starting after lunch Sunday until this morning. That took the pressure off
Made it by .1 , just waiting for the approval.

I won! I surpassed my dietbet and surpassed my personal goal of losing 10 lbs this month.
I wanted to start working out at a rock climbing gym at the beginning of the year, but after doing some climbing, I really worried about how heavy I was and falling and getting hurt.... CANNOT WAIT TO START CLIMBING! 💪

Squirrel for real. It’s too dangerous to use a the crossbow I have in my yard for small and fast moving targets like squirrels, but I have a tube trap that works wonders. They love cheerios and sunflower seed butter.

Franni E.

you’re eating squirrel?

I will try the cauliflower! Great idea! I tried apple slices and they are ok but then I mixed them with roasted pistachios and wow, they are a tasty treat together!

Franni E.

i wonder if you could do mushroom jerky with the dehydrator?

so I guess Ilana isn’t doing the weekly calls for this dietbet? I wish she had made that more clear before I signed up. I feel terrible about everything happening in LA right now and I can understand that she has a lot going on. but I do think if she made a formal announcement saying whether she is going to do the calls or not it would clear up a lot of confusion.

In her previous one when she was promoting this one she said she wouldn’t be doing AMAs and also that this is her last DietBet.

yalda f.

Oh no! Her last one ? Why

Last couple of times I did this , Ilana did a call every Friday that was really helpful. It seems like she changed the program to rely on another membership to watch the videos

Amelia

working on a puzzle is super helpful for me

Alright. My kiddo ate the frosting off her donut today and wanted to throw away the rest at lunch time, and being starving and about 2 hours away from my prepped food, I caved and ate the bald donut. BUT it said it was 270 calories, and to make up for it, I only had half of my prepped lunch.

We made it to the gym in the evening, and I got on the stair stepper ready to *work,* but 18 minutes in the childcare center staff called me to tell me kiddo had peed her pants. Not having a change of clothes, we left. I’ll have to do a body weight workout at home.

Semper Gumby, I guess

@Franni E wise words! (Though I definitely did enjoy the donut lol) Thanks :)

I do sometimes consciously decide to eat my kids leftover food. But I try to make this decision more mindfully. I remind myself first of all, I’m not a garbage disposal, and secondly, is it really worth it? Is the food cold? Is it soggy? Is it still delicious? Will I still enjoy it? I don’t tell myself I can never have my kids leftover food, but I do it more mindfully.
