  • OK, this is confirmation. I just WON! So it’s an early weighOUT! And we have 12 days left. I know this is not how it normally works.

Tell me I'm not trippin. I put my weight in. Of course I'm not there yet but it said something asking the lines of not being a winner but we still got 13 days to go plus 2 days to submit weight. Am I still in the game?

Yes, it should say how many days left at the top of your screen. It's not over yet!

Hi I hope you see this. I don’t know why the weigh out is early, but I guess the owner posted the weigh out early. You need to resubmit. Contact DietBet via email. so you do not loss the contest.

I am signed up with @Fatgirlfedup LEXY. (she’s a famous Instagram influencer that lost over 300 pounds, her DietBet is very popular and very active, I joined her first in formula because I need to lose over 100 pounds. If you win this DietBet use your winnings to sign up for her new DietBet. It starts on the 14th)

The reason that I’m sending this message because I too thought this was a progress weigh-in. But not I’m concerned for people who did not reach their goal and weighed in. Reson being.

I just weighed out yesterday with fatgirlfedup and this morning DietBet asked if I wanted to weighout using weight from my other game.

I have surpassed my goal, however others may not.

It’s not fair because a lot of people thought that they were not weighing out and this was just a progress way out.

So bottom line I think you need to contact DietBet to make sure they are not gonna use that last way in so you don’t just get disqualified at the end of the competition.

Woke up unexpectedly at goal this morning so weighed in! I still have to hold steady as I have another game ending Sunday with the same goal, so I had planned to weigh in for both at once. Debated just waiting anyway, but why tempt fate, right? :)

Congratulations on your win

It's a flex Kickstarter which means that we have a really big window to weigh in instead of just the two days.

Leaving for Dominican tomorrow and was happily surprised when I stepped on the scale before my shower and I was 2 pounds under! I was worried I was going to lose after eating and drinking all week on vacation. So I went and put my clothes back on 🙈 and weighed out. Luckily I was still a smidge under dressed haha. Very happy with that! Woot. I will join another kickstarter after we get back. But hello sunshine and warmth . ?

Does anybody know how these kick starters work? Do they usually weigh out early?

Meghan B.

Usually it’s a 4 week solid deadline. This is the first flex I have done. From what I understand you can weight out anywhere in the last 2 weeks and then when the last day ends everyone’s game will finalize . In a usual game you can only weigh out on a specific day .

I don't think I'll be making this bet this time. I'm literally stunted. Can't get past 345. I've even lowered my calorie deficit by 200 less. Drink water, eat one meal a day 😵‍💫 5.5 lbs to go but ion think it's possible at this point.

Omg, thank y'all! I'll try HARDER! I definitely can do this!

CrunchyFrog

You can absolutely do it but I echo what others said about not eating too little. That can easily slow things down.

I hurt my knee a couple days into the challenge. I signed up for several and I’m so down bc I’m not able to workout at all and my eating hasn’t been the best either. Waiting on mri and trying not to feel depressed about losing money and the challenges. What do you all do with big set back like this?? Also just started my period so that doesn’t help anything. lol

If you're unable to use your lower body, you can still do upper body workouts, life weights sitting in a chair etc. or just dial focus on your diet & filling up with healthy choices! U got this, don't give up!

  • Hey, bet mates! I've been seeing some comments across my games, so I want to share with you some thoughts that may be helpful to you. (: Credentials: I'm an NBHWC certified Health and Wellness Coach.

I encourage you to eat 3 meals a day, every day. Fasting or eating one meal a day without professional oversight can be tricky because there are a lot of nuances to consider. Depriving yourself of enough calories can actually cause your body to hold onto weight, and then when you start eating regularly again, gain weight because your body is panicking-- 'What if we start to starve again?? We must store all of it! Danger danger!'

Additionally, deprivation can lead to overdoing it later. I encourage you to try to strike a balance every day if you can. More consistent smaller meals help your body be fueled throughout the day, which helps to keep your hunger hormones in check. Foods that also help keep fullness up are whole grains ('wheat bread' is not as helpful as 'whole wheat bread') and proteins (the leaner, the better, but also include fattier ones) help to keep you fuller longer. I felt the difference after doing this for several days myself.

Sustainability is key. If you want to make a lifestyle change, and not just lose weight for a bet that you will likely regain, it's super important to make changes that will last through your lifetime and not just a crash diet quick fix. You deserve to feel your best and have a nourished body!

Such great advice! So many people go about weight loss the wrong/unhealthy & unsustainable way. Thanks for sharing this!
