I’m really discouraged, friends. I haven’t lost anything in days. I have been eating too many silly carbs, but I am so stressed and so hungry and my body is such a mess right now with this skin infection and today my period started and yesterday I got an injection in my knee for arthritis and I just feel like I’m trapped in this body that’s carrying around extra weight. I know I need to reframe this mindset and cut the silly carbs but I’m just really struggling. I’m not looking for advice, but I guess I could use some empathy. And a hug.

  • Any one else deal with low blood sugar. I was dinner and done but my blood sugar drop while I was sleeping and had to eat some carbs

  • So it was the protein powder I was using. 109 % better I use one scoop of marshmallows RYSE protein powder 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and a little almond milk mixed up cake like batter in the microwave 30 seconds then another 30 seconds

Still no change up or down in my weight. I’m thinking it might be combination of stress and/or PMs. Does anyone else bloat up during PMS and retain that weight like crazy? I’m going to stay the course and not give up, just thought I’d listen to others’ experiences!

  • Day 3: Plate It - What you can eat in a day
    How are you doing on this Day 3? Knowing what to eat (and when) has really helped me get some structure to my day and maximize my meals!! Like Ilana says, it gives us balance and energy. This also helps me move on to other things in my day.

    What are some recipes or key ingredients that help you stick with the Plate It method? Let’s keep each other inspired!

The breakfast mug cakes work great for me lately. Pumpkin and apple in the 2B Mindset recipes is my go to.
I’ve been struggling with dinners some nights. I get overwhelmed trying to figure out what I can eat and what my husband and kids will want ( one of my teens is very picky).

Melissa. Try to make a list of everyone’s top foods by group. Veggies. Carbs. Protein. Accessories. It might take some creativity but there is bound to be some overlap! My fave lately is pasta for family with spaghetti squash for me. Tacos for family and a big taco salad or taco stuffed peppers/mushrooms for me. And just keeping it basic protein. Veg. And add carbs for the family!

  • We start Monday, February 10th! What are your plans to get ready for this Diet Bet? I also wanted to ask if everyone has the 2B Mindset Super Block? Just makes it easier to share recipes and info from the videos but definitely not required. I look forward to sharing ideas, frustrations, recipes, workouts and encouragement here!

    I just ordered a 2B Mindset tracker. Last month I didn’t track. This time I decided to dive further into the program and start tracking with pen and paper. 5 years ago I had great success with Portion Fix and tracking was key for me.
