  • So, I work in a grocery store, in produce. I'm on my feet 8 hrs a day, lifting heavy boxes, slinging watermelons now, pumpkins in the fall. Still out of shape and don't like my body. So me and the family are at the gym this morning. At this picture moment I'm struggling to keep up with my daughter. But as I type this I'm finishing 2 miles. Haven't walked in a long time, for exercise. I'm going! The end is still far, but I have goals!

I am a big fan of air-fried tofu! I cut it into cubes and marinate it in soy sauce, garlic powder, and any other random seasonings. It's great with rice and broccoli! I'm not a big meat fan, I also love salad with nuts and chickpeas! They make it feel so hearty! And with other veg add in I don't even need dressing it's so tasty!

These colorful heroes are absolutely packed with goodness – we're talking fiber to keep you full, essential nutrients for energy, and all that fantastic flavor, usually with low calories. Think of them as your secret weapon for feeling amazing and rocking your health goals!

    Aim to fill half your plate with colorful fruits and vegetables at every single meal. I started doing this last year and was excited by the results! Because they add so much volume without many calories, you get so much food! It makes seconds more fun! :D I also started to find ways to have fruit for dessert. It didn’t make sense to my dessert-loving mind because dessert is chocolate, but finding creative ways to make fruit feel like dessert was fun! My favorite is strawberries and blueberries over fat-free cottage cheese or Greek yogurt, sometimes with a drizzle of sugar-free maple syrup and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts. I am finding warm, fruit-based desserts that aren’t overly sweet and sugary harder to find. Please share ideas if you have them!

  • Made a veggie bread, out of zucchini, carrots and cheddar. Turned into a nice chicken avacado sandwich. Not pretty but tasted great

im proud of achieving doing four days of treadmill walking. I feel like im gaining momentum now. I still have to work on my eating habits (especially my night time eating habits) but im taking it one step at a time.

So far I’m proud of finding meals I thoroughly enjoyed. I normally make food and get tired of it after the 2nd time and grab whatever. This weekend my focus is water. I struggle with that but I have put a bottle in each room. I know it sounds like overkill but if it helps then so be it lol
