Just got done with the first transformer of the year! Took 2 weeks off to cheat too much on the weight loss goals!! Back to it and with the wife this time! Excited to motivate each other! Good luck everyone!

I haven't really posted since my first month, because I basically hit the entire goal first month and coasted a bit, but still lost weight and hit the goal each month! Getting back to posting this month to motivate myself and maybe motivate a couple of you a little more this April! The left side is right before we started this DietBet. I was in a dark place and not happy. The right side is 2 weeks ago! So much happier and feeling great! Let's all have an amazing month and do one thing better than last month!

Most dedicated I have ever been! More than achieved my goal and almost at the full 10% already! 21.4 pounds down and almost under 200!! I had a work trip in the mix and 3 family parties, but fully committed to success this month and it showed!! Hope everyone is happy with their month, win or lose, as long as you accomplished something you wanted! My keys to success:

1) Fully tracking all calories and measuring!
2) Progress weigh ins
3) Family workouts (5X per week at night even if only for 30 minutes)
4) Workouts 3X per week early AM with 2 good friends!
5) No alcohol (One cheat day on Lions playoff game day)
6) Focusing on being happy and positive!

Ended up setting up a gym in the basement and added a portable sauna/steam box and ice bath!! The kids love it and now we are having daily family workouts! Loving them so far!

This will be made again!! Low carb Turkey Gyro bowls!! The rice is cauliflower rice! Homemade tzatziki sauce with Greek yogurt!

Hope everyone is having an amazing start to the weekend! My day off from the gym, but still played 3 rounds of golf and hit 3 buckets of balls at the simulator today!

Spoiled me and my buddy in this group for dinner tonight!! Smoked lobster tail, grilled shrimp, and homemade crab cakes!!

Hope everyone is having an amazing week! I have two awesome things that are motivating me this week! Hopefully I can motivate a few others in the group!

1) My 7 year old little girl Charley wanted to start working out with me. We are doing a fitness obstacle course and 30 minute cycling class every night now!!

2) I have officially hit 11 pounds down in this challenge now! That equates to 4.9% so far for me! I have tracked every single meal since 1/1/25, I have worked out 4-5 days a week, I have made sure to drink tons of water, and I still am alcohol free since 1/1/25!! The only time during this challenge I have had what I call a cheat meal was last Sunday when my wife, me, and daughter split a small Buddy's thin crust and salad. I still tracked those calories which was still under 600!

My favorite meal so far on this journey!! Cauliflower fried rice with smoked ground sirloin!! 471 total calories!

These are my go to low calorie street taco shell option. Only 30 calories per shell!! I make turkey wraps, tacos, mini quesadillas, etc.. with them and some lean protein. Keeps me super on track!
