  • My weight seems to vary through each day! Just did a progress weigh-in and it’s a bit up from earlier today. I still have 2 pounds to go… hope to slip in under the limit.

Amazing!! Congratulations!! You’re going to make it! I always weigh myself at the same time of day when I wake up- of course sometimes doing the official weigh in with photos takes more time than you have. But just know it’s not an accurate diction of what you’ve lost if it’s not the normal time you weigh-in. You’ve got this! I have a little bit more to go too ?

What's for breakfast most days?

For me it's coffee and nothing. But morning tea I often make smashed avococado with lemon juice, tomato, soft boiled egg and bacon.
How come my soft boiled egg is more or less cooked everyday? 🙈 Maybe I need an egg cooker 😁 5minutes in boiling water and then straight into cold water.

I fast until 11 most days then I have a protein coffee first. At 12 pm I have a protein and vegetable heavy lunch. Usually eggs or chicken, salad or a veggie plate, or a wrap containing them both with a yummy sauce. Once every few weeks I crave pancake or Hash browns and I will have those along with my protein shake

I love avocado toast with scrambled eggs on top with a couple Tbs of shredded cheese. It’s very filling and I often am not hungry again until around 5pm.

This weekend I went to a 2 day women's retreat at my church. They had TONS of food and desserts but I stayed strong and only ate my keto diet. I was able to have a few items but most of what I ate I brought. Packing my own food made a difference. Stay strong peeps!

I hate being sick as it makes me want to seek out comfort food and snuggle in bed. I’m on medicine now so hopefully I can get out of my tiredness fog and be able to do some movement. Oi - heal up body!

2026 marks my 10 years out of treatment for brain cancer. I had some less than ideal test results at my annual October check ups and turned to eating and being lazy but I am ready to push it aside since there isn’t anything I can do about it and start being active again. My goal is to focus on HEALTHY distractions instead of unhealthy ones.

Thank for this update and for sharing. I didn’t know how winnings were calculated so this thread has been helpful. I thought I’d have something in my pot to “reinvest” reinvest in a shorter game. Maybe in six months…. I think I’ll try and join a maintainer group then which has no DietBet fees removed apparently.

For our lead, I hope you find leading this Transformer brings you some positive momentum. You are juggling a lot. It’s my first Transformer, too! I’m a little nervous about sticking with it … but if you can then I can too!

Did a 13k training run and didn’t weigh in first… weirdly I was up a pound instead of lower. I still made the goal. Could it be water weight from drinking to rehydrate? Not too fussed, but surprised!

For shorter runs I notice a weight loss, but not longer runs. A fast-ish 5k is my hack for when I am just a little bit over my goal.

Do you mean the membership prizes or the extra prizes for this game? They are 2 different things. For the membership prizes this week is $100 under armour gift card and it is a surprise every week what it is going to be. The extra prizes for this game are in the rules somewhere. It was posted towards the beginning of the chat

  • Thanks to those who gave some encouragement the other day. I pulled myself up by my bootstraps and barely made my Kickstarter, but that means as long as I don't slack and go backwards I've already made my goal for this transformer. I have an aversion to tracking calories, and portion control, and so the lifestyle that fits me best is Intermittent fasting where I can eat as much as I want in my eating window, and when I'm truly hungry for my eating times I eat good quality and quantity then I'm done. I think I'm back on track with that now, my greatest weakness is wanting to snack at night!! So I just have to "delay don't deny" my way through it, and offer it to myself the next eating window... When I don't usually want it anymore because a good healthy meal just feels so good at that point!
    Any other intermittent fasters here?

I just finished Fast, Feast, Repeat by the same author as Delay, Don’t Deny. I am trying IF but am still in the first 28 days. Crossing my fingers for Feb 1-2!

I am doing intermittent fasting. I also hate counting calories. I usually do a MWF alternate day fast. Great results so far! I do add heavy cream to my morning coffee on fasting days and that actually seems to help. Some fasting days are easier than others still. So I wouldn’t call it easy. I can tell a huge reduction in inflammation and my migraines have gone away. Reading obesity code and watching adf videos on youtube helps keep me motivated.
