2026 marks my 10 years out of treatment for brain cancer. I had some less than ideal test results at my annual October check ups and turned to eating and being lazy but I am ready to push it aside since there isn’t anything I can do about it and start being active again. My goal is to focus on HEALTHY distractions instead of unhealthy ones.

Okay so. The math does check out on this. From the article below, DietBet takes 25% off of the top of the pot.

Pot = 28,440
DietBet Fee = 28,440*0.25=7110
Actual Pot Total = 21,330
Round Winners = 1,053
Winnings = 21,330/1,053=20.256

Like Grace just said as well, half of the bet goes to the final pot. From the article above it also states that we have a "no lose guarantee." So if 1,075 people won this round, we would have gotten $20 flat to cover what we paid into this month's pot.

  • I did this chart yesterday at 11 AM. Based on these figures the estimated payout amount should be between $59.27-$62.72 with Dietbet taking 25% and $5000 pot bonus. This depends on how many people met their goal between 11 AM and midnight but should be pretty close. Still, for more than half to make goal is great and congratulations to everyone that lost weight!!! EDIT: Based on the responses, I'm starting to question myself. I have done this in the past and it has been very accurate (within pennies) but this time since there almost 2000 people I decided to try AI (Chatgpt). If it's way off then I sincerely apologize. Fingers crossed I am close...

  • Messed up on couple of things. First, thought the pot was $79,720 PLUS $5000 = $84,720. Second, ended up with 303 additional winners (incredible 70.45%!) after 11 AM! Sorry about that.

Any official weigh in can be reused within 48 hours. I’m using my member weigh in tomorrow for the last weigh in of this game. But then I have to weigh in again on the 1st or 2nd for the Transformer but will reuse it for my member weigh in for next week.

I did one last year and lost all but the last one! You're never out! (There is a weight you have to get to by month 5 so you're not starving yourself for that last month)

Adding on to what Nicole and Jill said, you have to meet your final weight goal (90% of initial weight) by the end of your month 5 weigh in (around June 1st or so).

If you do, you have to maintain that 10% weight loss for the final (round 6) weigh in which is around July 1st. That's probably the toughest month.

If you don't meet that 10% goal at the end of month 5, you can't participate/share in the final pot. :(

Get ready for the final weigh in! Once the game ends tonight at midnight PST, you have until 11:59PM PST on Dec 30 to submit your final weight. If you're a winner, you'll be asked to submit photos and will get a new weigh-in word when you visit the weigh-in screens.

Submit early to make sure your photos are accepted, and remember - don't eat that cupcake until you get an email that your photos are approved! (If you don't get one, check your spam folder.) You must have an approved weigh-in in order to be declared a winner.

The game will finalize 24-36 hours after all weigh-ins have been submitted. Good luck!
