  • Today I'm 7 weeks postpartum of my 3rd child. I haven't had my all clear to work out again, but hopefully that will be this week during my last postpartum check-up.

    I intend on counting calories and using 2B mindset for plating. With some luck I'll able to workout again 3x per week. If not.. I still have to walk my dog 3x per day for 30 minutes. I'm also breastfeeding and with doing so I'm not eating dairy, gluten, eggs, nuts and soya for the time being.

    Dinner tonight was stuffed pumpkin with cranberries and pecans. So delicious! I forgot to take a picture, so I looked up the recipe online and got a photo from that.

I can’t seem to get past these last 2 pounds. I’ve changed my eating styles, I have a calorie deficit and have been exercising. Trying not to be upset if I don’t make it but it’s hard!

I'm feeling the differences in weight with how clothes fit, etc... but the scale hasn't gotten the message yet... *eyeroll* Hoping it catches up and fixes itself before weigh-in! Still have a few lbs to make goal *fingers crossed* I'm doing all the right things and at the very least I'm feeling stronger, healthier and happier with my body. So at least that's something! But I want the big "W" too!!!!

I did well on my first week, I completed 5 days of exercise mostly stretching and Pilates to get me warmed up and started. I meal prepped all my meals for the week (protein, veggies and carbs(fruit, brown rice, quinoa, or sweet potato) which helped me to feel full and be super successful. This week I will continue meal prepping and adding at least 1 day of a more rigorous workout. They say slow and steady wins the race! I’ve lost 3lbs with these small changes.

I’d love to hear about others experiences for this week! Keep it moving 🚶‍♀️🏃?‍♀️🚴‍♀️??‍♂️

A small, but yet big thing I did this week was not drive through Starbucks everyday before work. Ditched my usual drink and breakfast food and it seemed to help a lot…down almost 3 lbs.

Hi Shannon! It’s recommended weekly but as long as you do the initial and the final weigh-in on October 8th you are fine. I like to see my progress so I do it weekly plus you get entered into the drawing for the weekly prize if you’re a member.
