Took a hike for the first time since snapping my ankle two years ago and -110 lbs. That was hard but I’m proud of myself for taking the chance. Keep putting the work in!!!
Been working hard this week to create a calorie deficit each day even if it’s just one calorie. Using MyFitnessPal to track. Eating a little better, definitely being more thoughtful about what and how much I eat. This week was kind of easy because I didn’t have any events or parties to go to. Exercise isn’t a problem. I consistently run, bike, hike and strength train.
Thanks! And yes I plan all of our meals for the week, foodshop in advance and do some preps . I just generally tend to eat more than I should so I am being much more thoughtful about portions and actually create the deficit through exercise.
Basically at my goal, but stuck at the weight. My fault, because my eating habits have been more inconsistent. But, a ton of progress at the gym, which will carry over into the next challenge. And, the Giants had an awesome first round at the draft 😎
How is everyone who celebrates Easter planning to stay the course? I’m staying away from the candy temptation (for now). I typically overdo dessert on holidays so I’m planning to skip the dessert table in favor of a few small candy treats later today. Also squeezed in a quick workout and having a healthy protein and fiber rich breakfast before traveling to be with family.
Back from family vacation in the Los Angeles area. We hiked, walked and ran everyday while we were there so didn’t gain but didn’t lose either. Fridge was pretty empty so trying to get back on track. 45 minute ride, 40 min of strength and Cinnamon Chia protein oats for breakfast.
