Aw no, that's disappointing :pensive:. Perhaps it's hormonal, even stress can do that. It may pass and settle back into losing again. Just don't give up, things will turn around for you again :pray:

I've got some hard work to put in, to finish February out. For those that need to hear to this, don't give up. Keep pushing yourself. This week I'm working on general meal planning for the family. I'm hoping this will reduce the typical fast food weekly trips. Tonight I'm making chicken and rice soup, tomorrow hamburger helper (my son's fav) and I bought a frozen pizza as a dinner back up for this week. Anyone else struggling with eating at home?

Out of curiosity, what's an hamburger helper? I hear about it on socials and I guess maybe some sort of seasoning?

Francy, hamburger helper is a box meal that you add ground meat to. There are several different kinds, so the box might contain dry pasta and seasoning, and you add water and cooked ground meat.

Some kind of game focused on weight maintenance after someone loses a certain percentage of weight. Most of us know how to lose weight and certainly know how to gain weight. Maintaining is the hardest thing for me.

I checked if it was possible to weight in before breakfast, it wasn't.
It became available AFTER I ate!
Luckily I was a good bit beyond my goal so I could do it before heading away for the weekend, and still be within the lines!

Hello everyone,

as past times showed, I was more successful when being active on here - so here I go:
I haven‘t won a lot if dietbets these past years…but another year, another motivational push towards a healthier life!
I got a yoga teacher‘s license last year, which was a great opportunity to incorporate more movement into my life (and a lot of balancing pose-goals).
When joining this dietbet I started a pilates challenge which I have been following about 80% up to this point :D That‘s pretty good for me…

I just googled a poledance studio close to me, but I feel a little conscious about starting a beginner class. I will do another 30-day challenge to build some strength in my arms and see where to go from there.


Nutrition-wise I am trying to cut my intake of treats and sweets. I don‘t know if anyone knows ‚Marzipan‘ (I‘m from Germany) - it‘s a lot of sugar and fat and I could eat a ton of it 🙈

I have a lot of plans, let‘s see which ones I will stick to…

I look forward to see and read more about your ambitions and progress. Let‘s cheer each other on these next six months!

Something funny is happening lately - I 'm simply forgetting to eat the little desserts I was allowing myself to.
I have a very sweet tooth and I figured out a too strict regime wouldn't work for me, so I am allowing myself a little sweet treat (usually a candy or bite of chocolate) with my after-lunch coffee and after dinner.
Well, I didn't have any yesterday or today, I'm just not thinking about it when it's supposed to happen.
Is my addiction starting to fade? I hope so!

Awesome! I have often used the …. After dinner I will have, then I don’t realize to the next morning and tell my self again, ok tonight after dinner I will have. Wash and repeat it has worked at least 75% of the time to reduce eating my treats

  • Just completed my first cardio workout in what it seems to be ages! The stiffness in my movements is embarrassing, but I can only get better from now on!

I’ve been trying to get more movement into my day and decided I wanted to climb a virtual mountain using the stairs in my house. I measured the step height and done the math so I know how many I need to climb to get to the summit of my chosen mountain. I’ve struggled with agoraphobia throughout my life and climbing a real mountain is probably pushing myself too far right now but I like the idea of climbing. It seems like a great way to work on leg strength, get fitter overall and it’s measurable. I’m starting with virtually climbing Mount Snowdon in Wales and I eventually want to work up to Everest. It will take me a long time but I feel I can do it. Has anyone else done something similar?
