How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

We are leaving for a hotel this evening and leaving there for the airport at 4am. Then cruising. I think I've used my renpho travel scale before. Thinking I can do it at the airport tomorrow am, if not the hotel before we go. The travel scales are about half the size but it matches the weight of my regular scale at home. I think that's an acceptable option right? Has anyone used one for weigh out?
My other thought was I'm at goal, so joining a maintainer today, weighing in, and then reusing that but the next maintainer doesn't start for about a week.
I've read you can get one early weigh out, but not sure at this point if I'd hear back in time.

  • This is the one I have. It probably would fit in your carry on.

Follow up. I weighed out at 3 am before we left the hotel. I was either up a bit from having red robin right before bed, or from the hotel floor being more solid than the floor of my 130 year old house? Both? Lol either way, I was within range and it was accepted. So travels scales are doable.
