  • Argh! I had a dr appt this am. So I popped in and did my weigh in pics and left. I'm now at the dr waiting. I decided I'd submit now since I'm here. I go to look at my pic and there I'd a tiny scrap of tissue touching my scale I didn't see! Lol now I can't get a bagel while I'm out. We'll, I could but couldn't eat it till I get home and take a new picture!
    Oh well! Side note. My shorts are falling down! Gotta see what I have that fits. Or buy a belt.

Ha. I didn't even notice that! I had 3.5 hours of sleep last night. Rough morning! I didn't change it and they accepted it so all is well.

  • Why are the first few days of a new diet exciting?! I eat all these foods anyway, but putting them on a plate together and calling it a snack has me feeling good today. Next week, it'll be an entirely different story... :(

I do both spaghetti squash and pasta. Or I'll add steamed broccoli in small chunks to my pasta. I'm past the pony where I'll cut out what I want and "diet". If I want it, I work it in :)

  • I hate to cook, but I just got a subscription to Eating Well. This issue has good recipes in it that I can handle. I love bowls! Anyone else have a good source for easy recipes?

I use skinny taste recipes a lot. Or my ig tends to throw a lot of little recipes at me. One of my fav things to make on an I don't want to cook night is I measure out goldfish. Jalepeno cheddar or frank red hot flavor are our favs. Crush them up but still leave chunky. Then dip chicken breasts in gold fish. Dip in egg. Dip on gold fish again. Bake or airfry. The goldfish actually form a fried type of coating. It's so good!

  • This was the best kale salad I've ever eaten. Kale massaged with olive oil, lemon, salt and garlic powder. Let that sit 30 to 60 min. In the mean time, roast 2 sweet potatos you've tossed with olive oil, salt, and cinnamon for 30 min. During the last 7 min throw a cup of pecans in with them to roast. 1 cup pomegranate arils and one half cup goat cheese. Supposed to use ???? but I forgot and didn't miss it. Ignore my bowl. It's the bowl I'd used to toss my Potatos and didn't want to dirty another:)

    Some weigh-in tips
