For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

This past year was a bad health year… I found out I had pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. I’ve done a lot—strength training, cardio, huge diet changes (I was vegan for 4 months 😭, I cut out salt 😭, I cut out sugar and carbs 😭). Everything is coming together slowly except the weight loss! It was just too much on top of all the other adjustments, but I think I’m ready now and I think this will be just the ticket to get me there! Unfortunately, I get really hungry at 1pm, so hopefully I can get past that. 😅🙈

I read several books! Mastering Diabetes, The Diabetes Code, Undo It and Blood Pressure Down. It’s been a roller coaster this year. After I went vegan, my cholesterol went down to normal within 3 months, but at that point I was eating more carbs, so I went back to some meats to help manage the pre-diabetes. My high blood pressure was at 165, but I’ve got it down to the 130’s now. Gotta get labs again to see where everything is again, but I am suspicious everything is also connected to my weight gain post grad school.
