For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

    Try the 5-minute rule.

    Just get into your workout and give yourself absolute permission to stop after 5 minutes. Knowing you can stop if you want to makes the workout less daunting, but I’m going to guess you’ll keep going.

    Has anyone tried this before?

My main trick is repeatedly telling myself that I GET to do this. I get to work out. I am privileged to be able to work out. The next trick is to get into my workout clothes immediately after waking up. It tricks my mind into thinking I've already committed to working out!

Yes! I just started doing strength training to supplement my walking/hiking with a plan to do every other day. I was not feeling it last night. Got home from work, went on treadmill for 30 min, ate dinner and kept procrastinating. Finally at 8:30, got off the couch and decided to do “a few minutes” and did it for the full 30 min. Felt so good.
