How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Do you feel stronger?

As we get close to the 10% goal, I ask myself this everyday. Right now I'm 3-4 pounds away stuck around 182 pounds and I need to reach 178.2. If I don't make it this round... or next... I'll be ok.

This Dietbet I've focused on gaining muscle. It's been tough making some of the weigh-ins. On month 3 I didn't eat all day and just barely made it. On month 4 I fasted about 24 hours and just barely made it again. Will I make it this month? Maybe.

I weigh myself at the same time, under the same conditions, every day. I know what to expect when I get on the scale. Right now I'll be 182 plus or minus a pound and that hasn't been changing for a week or two.

Why am I ok with this?

I'm writing this to not just tell you but to remind myself. To remind myself that the strength I've gained from fueling my body and lifting heavy weights is worth more than monetary gain. When I ask myself the question, "Do you feel stronger", I have to respond, "YES!".

I've gone from doing 80 push-ups to 150. I've gone from 4 pull-ups in a row to sets of 8. I can do things I never thought like L sits. I've been working on strengthening muscles I never knew existed. I'm ok with this because...

If I lose, the money wont' matter.
The health I've gained is worth way more.

With that said, I'm going to try my damndest to win this round :-).
