How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

The saying “EAT TO LIVE, DON’T LIVE TO EAT” usually keeps me on track. Thinking of it this way; that eating is how we survive and not what we should be doing for fun, makes it easier to eat less. I am trying to find fun and satisfaction in other aspects of life and have been on a journey of becoming closer to God. What do you do to stay on track??

I love hearing that! It is a feel good journey, and has only brought positive changed to myself and my life.

Try to find other things to fill my time. Remind myself that each pound of weight lost relieves 4 pounds of pressure from my lower back and leg joints. Think of my goals (feeling good when I walk, being able to play with my kids, maintaining my mobility as I age, being able to exercise if I want to without injuring my ankles). Food doesn't fill the void, it's just a temporary bandaid that can actually make it worse.
