How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hello, friends! I've been quiet lately, so I thought I should come in and tell you what's going on.

I've discovered a have a heart issue that is NOT lethal, but it's affecting my energy level. I'm often fatigued and light headed when I'm in this rhythm. I went to see my personal doctor and she is referring me to a cardiologist. I'm still waiting on that call for an appointment.

She has also reduced the amount of a diuretic I take three times per week. Being on that less has resulted in a three pound weight gain over the past three days. I've also had to stop taking a muscle relaxant that helps with pain in my knees following knee replacement surgery. It's causing frustration, but I'm still staying on my weight loss plan and I have every intention of staying with this game.

I'm sure that the weight I've already lost is helping me through all of this. Hopefully this will be behind me soon and I can get back to focusing all my efforts on being a (weight) LOSER!

Good luck. Keep an eye on your fluid. My boyfriend has chf and we are always playing the game with fluid overload. Be safe and take care of yourself. Good luck.
