How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Many years ago, I lost quite a bit of weight using Nutrisystem. It wasn't sustainable for me after I quit eating their food, but it was nice to know I could still lose weight.

One of the things the community talked about was that in any new diet effort, your third day, third week and third month were the most difficult.

I am finding that to be VERY TRUE this time! I'm not only in a stall, but I've gained back some weight because my body is hanging on to things I'd rather it let go (that's the nicest way I can describe the dreaded "C" word).

I've been very good to the plan, only going over calories once in the last few days, and that was eating a chicken sandwich with fries. But I'm working hard to maintain my positive attitude, because in these stalls like this, the comfort food I usually abuse is CALLING MY NAME LOUDLY!

    Stay strong, friends!

So, so true! Thanks for posting this! It's frustrating to plateau!

Good job with staying the course Keith; it can be particularly difficult when the results of our effort are not reflected on the scale. Someone earlier in this game (was it you?! I think it was ) taught me the acronym NDVs, so I’d remind you of those now & perhaps take heart from them until the number on the scale returns to a downward trend, which I know it will. You’re committed, determined & knowledgeable wrt weight loss, and I know that will [continue] to pay off for you. Last month you shared that you were managing some health issues/scares, so I think you deserve to feel extra proud of your weight loss effort and achievement today, amidst all that.
