How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I had started at 135 in the summer, down to 118 in December.

On the scale this morning, I’m at 128?! After a couple of family trips, I guess I stopped tracking and stopped working out. But that’s like 10 lbs in a month! I hope it’s a fake 10lbs. At least I didn’t gain it all back.

So I walked inclines today for an hour, first “workout” since mid December. This is Day 1!

Some of it will be water. I can fluctuate as much as 3 lbs from one day to the next, and also depending what time of day I weigh myself, it can be more drastic. Just focus on getting back to healthy habits and you'll do great! That's the most important thing. I've gained 20 lbs in a month at times due to poor eating habits and inactivity! I wish it came off that fast! That's why I hate the "you gained it slowly, it takes time to lose it!" Because, uh, no, I didn't gain it slowly!

Exactly! There have been months (not many, but here and there) where I was 99% on plan and I still lost nothing. Whether that was due to muscle gain or weight shifting from fat to muscle, I have no idea. But it is SO much easier to gain it than lose it! Happy to say this morning I was down!
