How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Guys do you think doing the final weigh in with a new scale is too risky even if the weight read the same? Should I keep it for my next challenge and just use the one I used for my initial weigh in this time?

I'm thinking the same thing. Stay with your old scale to finish out this game.

Hi Veronica! While we prefer that players use the same scale for all weigh-ins, we realize this is not always possible and do not require it. It makes tracking progress more accurate and consistent. If you cannot use the scale you used for previous weigh-ins, simply use the best scale you have available.
