    As we head into this week,, be kind to yourself and be proud of your decision to make your health a priority.

    A few tips for these final days:
    -Stick to your plan; don’t make any drastic changes
    -Keep moving - get those steps in!
    -Limit salt
    -Drink plenty of water
    -Get enough sleep (rest is so important!)

    Whether you're crushing your goal or struggling a bit, please keep in mind that PROGRESS is the real win. Any changes you can say you've noticed since the game started - that's what you should focus on. What have you learned about yourself? What little victories have you accomplished? It's not all about the scale (yes, the game is determined by the little numbers by your feet, but they don't determine your worth, your happiness, or what you're capable of).

    Dig deep and don’t give up this week! Make it your final push, but also look at how far you've come!

I've been laser focused on this one, I woke up this morning 2 lbs under my goal already...but i remember reading that if you lose to much you may be disqualified, obviously our weight changes up and down day to day but what's to much considered? Thanks

Good for you!! I’m teetering on the edge of my goal, but I’m not as far as you. I’m hoping I don’t get too confident and go backwards. My joint pain is thd biggest change so far. Thank goodness for that!!

  • Well I definitely won't be making this challenge. I was doing so well and even was losing while on vacation this past weekend. That was up until I had an ATV accident and the 4 wheeler landed on me. Thankfully, I did not break anything. I am just very banged up and bruised and having difficulty walking. That being said, not only will I not be making the challenge but the scale has gone up even higher than my initial weight because of all the inflammation. 😔

    It’s Week 3! That means we’re at the halfway point!

    Take a moment today and reflect on the reason(s) why you started this game. Maybe you are just starting your weight loss journey, maybe you are working through a plateau, or maybe you have an upcoming event or vacation. Whatever your motivation is - don’t lose sight of it!

    When I find myself getting off track, I stop and take a few minutes to think about my end goal and what I want to accomplish. This helps me refocus and feel determined again.

    Each day, stop and think about the choices you are making. Are they moving you closer to your end goal? Let’s finish the second half of this game strong!

Hi Grace, I’ve requested a payout twice now through the points and payout feature but have not received any reply. The first refund was requested was on 24 July but for some reason that was reversed via DietBet, so I redid it. I have also sent two emails to DietBet requesting a payout but I haven’t heard from them. Can you help please.

If you do not complete that step within 7 days, your payout is automatically canceled. I see that we responded to your email on August 5th.     Weekends are a great time to add in healthy activities that you may not have time for during the week. Whatever your weekend looks like, make it a great one and plan ahead so you'll stay on track.

    Some ideas to nourish you - mind, body, and soul:

    -Create a fitness challenge for yourself and complete it both Saturday and Sunday
    -Try a new recipe!
    -Journal (if you're not sure what to write, start by listing 3 things you are grateful for)
    -Read a book
    -Watch something that makes you laugh!
    -Spend time on your favorite hobby

    And always remember to drink your water!
