How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I’m not one to often write posts, when I’ve done diet bets before. However, I lost the last couple, so I need to do something different. My main problem is when I have access to unhealthy food (out to eat, parties, etc), I have trouble resisting. Generally if I stay away from junk and such, I’m good. But when it’s in front of me it’s a different story. So when I’m in a situation where the urge to indulge is overwhelming, I’m going to get on here and post. Something to mark the moment, and the feeling that I need to overeat, but to keep a rational and objective attitude towards the feeling, and then releasing it so I can make the best decision for myself. I just figured I’d put a warning out there, in case I start posting a lot! Best wishes to all.

Accountability can be so helpful! It is also helpful to try to remember it doesn't have to be all or nothing. Try eating just one to 3 bites of something you really want and focusing on your protein and fiber otherwise. Eat what you want and add the things you need... dont just focus on what you have to cut out! You got this!

My access to unhealthy food is the same. I normally ask my self if i'm actually hungry and if i am, i try to have some healthier snacks with me like preportioned servings of almonds, a chomps stick, or a protein bar. Its hard to resist, but you can do this.
