How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Home stretch at the most difficult time of the year! I'm hoping this challenge will keep me from gaining weight like I have every other year around the holidays (usually 10-20lbs!). My kids are bugging me to do Christmas baking but I keep putting it off so I won't be tempted. How is everyone handling all the baking and treats? I don't want to let my kids down but if I make it I'll eat it

Here are some of the tricks I’ve been using and they’ve been working: make the treats, but freeze them. You’ll have to let them thaw so you can think about if they’re worth it or not, but also just take out one at a time. You’ll get your indulgence (you gotta live right?) but will be smart about portions. At home and at gatherings, I eat only from a salad plate- but when it comes to cookies and treats, switch it to a saucer plate. Once the plate is done, so am I. If out to dinner at a restaurant, I only eat half of my dinner. Then I get two yummy meals (leftovers) with smarter portion sizes and no guilt. Hope that helps!

I like Sunshine’s approach. It’s just a bit more to go, you can do it!!
