How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I have some questions: the email says that weigh ins should be at the same time of day (roughly) each week and they recommend in the morning. My problem is that I work nightshift, so some days my "morning" will actually be in the morning and some days my "morning/when I wake up" is at night. Will I be penalized if my weigh ins aren't at the same time of day? My other question is, do we get our unique word once we click on the ready to submit weight part in the app?

Hi Maureen! Great questions! You can weigh in when it’s convenient for you, no problem.

Yes the weigh-in word is provided when you start the weigh-in process. If you want to go through it and add random photos to check out the process first you can do that. You can back out without submitting.
