How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Sharing what’s been so helpful for me.

I’ve put on a bunch of weight from stress eating and drinking while dealing with a lot. But I’m so ready for a change. Especially now before it gets warmer in NZ.

I’ve been tracking my calories which I HATE but it does help me realise how I put on weight. I also feel like by avoiding the scales I’ve created a weight gain monster and recognise that checking in on them weekly will stop a blow out moving forward.

I’ve also really focused on getting my fibre targets and it has made a huge difference to how full I feel and I don’t even want to snack because I am satisfied. I’ve been pretty good with protein but fibre has been a game changer.

This is the BitePal app which I accidentally signed up for a year of and it’s just ok, missing a lot of food from my country but I enjoy the raccoon 😆

I’ve also been trying to get more fiber! I’m lucky to have to have a salad bar in the staff cafe at work so I just make myself a giant salad for lunch every day and keep a box of protein bars in my locker so I don’t hit up the vending machine for snacks.
