Hello everyone!! Totally forgot this started 10 days ago, as I signed up weeks ago. I’m not feeling super confident I’ll lose enough to win, but I’m hopeful to have a good start for my weight loss. I struggle with stress/emotional eating. I also am in early menopause. I’m re-joining the gym today! I’m open to tips for safe ways to loose weight quickly for an upcoming cruise in 6 weeks. Everyone’s body is pretty different, but going super low carb or at least carb cycling, can sometimes be pretty effective at dropping weight fast-ish.

Also, as Cara said, protein!! It’s satiating and has a higher thermogenic effect than fat or carbs (meaning you burn more energy to digest it).

Also, fiber! Again, satiating, and again, fewer of those calories go to *your* stores because the more fiber, the more of those calories get eaten up by your gut biome.
