I struggle with depression and have been in a slump the past couple of weeks. I haven’t been meal planning, grocery shopping, or working out. I’ve gained 6 lbs. back from the 15.4 that I had lost. I’m feeling better, although not 100%, and I want to get back on track.

I just submitted my Round 2 weigh in. Not sure what the point was since I gained weight back. I’m heading to bed now so that I get a good sleep before my alarm goes off at 5:30 AM for my workout. I’m also going to set my workout clothes aside so they’re ready to go for the morning.

I’m even further behind for my Round 3 goal now. I’m trying not to freak out and give myself a panic attack about it. I need to lose about 22 lbs. this month to make my goal. 😬 Any tips to help me get through this?

I like the recommendation to set your sights on your round 4 goal instead of overwhelming yourself this month. Take the total weight loss needed by April 30th, and divide that by 8. Make THAT your weekly goal (instead of 4.4lbs). And way to get up this morning and knock a 1 hr workout out!! From a mental health standpoint, getting that done first thing is so important (I'm TERRIBLE at it, but I know just how good it makes me feel for the rest of the day when I do). Keeping that movement up will also help keep your mental health in check - with the added bonus of weight loss. So kudos to you for sticking it out, getting back on the horse, and making a plan to enjoy the ride! :)

Agree with all the comments above. Keep showing up for yourself. You are the most important person in your life, and you are also not alone. Keep doing what works for you, every step counts. Best to you.
