Happy Sunday, friends! Tomorrow starts our third week of this Transformer, if my math is correct, and there's always a possibility that it's not!
Super Bowl Sunday here in the USA means lots of opportunities for blowing a week's weight loss progress in one day! There are two ways to look at this:
1 - It's a good opportunity for you to practice moderation and mindfulness when it comes to what you eat and how much you eat. No food will damage your weight loss efforts IF you use common sense and keep the long-term goals of your program in mind! It's also a good practice moment for when you encounter family gatherings and other parties where we have a tendency to forget about being healthy.
2 - Say you have a GREAT Super Bowl party, and you step on the scales in the morning and gain three pounds. OH NO! Well...don't panic! Do you know that nutritionists say it takes 3,600 calories OVER AND ABOVE your activity for the day to gain a pound? Did you eat 10,800 calories at your party? I doubt it. You are entitled to have an off day, but don't let it wreck your progress! Get back on the weight-loss horse and ride off into the healthy sunset!
