I'm definitely looking forward to this game!! My goal weight to reach for this year is 185 (starting weight in Nov 2023 was ~250). With this game's starting weight at 199.4 for me, my target is less than 8% away!!

I've definitely taken a bit of a break this last month and I didn't take my last game as seriously as I would have liked, so I'm ready to hit the ground running again 😀

Do you have to be a member to do official weigh ins each month and be eligible for individual round winnings? I just want to make sure I do this right and also don't get disqualified or something.

Members get to do verified weekly weigh-ins for the chance to win a prize like an insta pot or something.

Everyone in this game gets to do monthly weigh-ins to win back their money (and a portion of the pot from people who don't make the goal). There is also the chance to win a treadmill at the end of round 2 in this game.

You don't have to be a member to win the treadmill, to get money back, or to receive some of the remaining pot.

You can update your weight unofficially anytime, but it won't count towards the monthly goals.

Yes. If you make the % goal for each round, then you will win $20+ a portion of the pot. (Your winnings won't be credited to your account until the end of the game though)

Half of the $40 we pay each month goes towards the last month's pot, so it's worth the equivalent of $140+ a portion of the remaining pot if you make the 10% goal.

To keep things safer, you are required to lose at least 6% by the end of month 5 if you want a chance at the final pot. So make sure you weigh in every month even if you don't make the weight % goal.

Congrats to everyone! (Advance congrats to whoever gets their winnings doubled!!)

Remember, whether you "won" or not isn't measured by 10% or the money available to cash out, it's measured by progress!

(Even if it is about the money for you, consider the cost of a 6 month gym membership, a healthy food delivery service, or a diet plan like Weight Watchers or Atkins 😳)

I forgot to weigh in for the 5th round (I lost the weight) I know I can’t get back in the game for round 5. But can I still participate for round 6 or am I out??

I'm pretty sure you're out. Round 5 is mandatory to participate in the final round. Do you have a membership? Maybe they'll allow a progress weigh in to be applied as your round 5?

Anyone else not won any rounds but lost 6% so you’re still in this thing? Just hit 6% :)
Congrats to everyone meeting their “final” goal weight.

I’m learning a lot about my body and how much I need to specifically target weight loss to make it happen. I was pretty dedicated to the idea of small sustainable changes, but maybe a month of bigger (hopefully still sustainable) changes is what I need to get to 10%.

Yep!! This has been my toughest transformer so far and I'm right at 6%. Overall I look at what I've put in and the improvements I've made and it's still worth it to keep making progress :relaxed:

After all, there'd be no use in losing the money and not making progress towards better health, so I'm in this for the long haul!

I didn’t have progress for the longest time! Only recently finally went past the required 6%. I’m really close to the 10% goal though. Thank goodness for the next round!

I’m starting to realize there is no more I can do about my size I haven’t lost weight in over a month I’m stuck at 200lbs with working out 5 days a week and eating 2 meals a day. My post pregnancy body doesn’t seem to care just wants to be heavy and look like I’m unhealthy

Progress isn't just on the scale. It can also be improved function, better cholesterol, increased movement and strength, less out of breath on the stairs, increased energy, and more. Don't be discouraged and keep taking care of yourself

It sounds like you may be OVER stressing your body. (NBHWC Coach here)

Things to try:
- cut back to 3 days a week of workout, and go for a nice medium walk another day
- our bodies like smaller amounts of food more times a day. Instead of 2 big meals, maybe try 4 smaller ones.
- how is your protein intake? You need more than you think. Plant proteins are great to add, as well as protein powder.
- fiber is an underrated weight loss helper. Whole grains and green veggies are a great place to get fiber.
- how is your hydration? Under drinking water can cause stasis.
- how is your sleep hygiene? Getting less than 6 hours a night halts weight loss.
- how is your stress? Untreated distress produces excess cortisol, which is a big contributor to weight gain or stall.

Right now I'm aiming for the round 2 goal. I'm going to pretend it's because I had a small surgery last month, but really it's because I love Easter candy. At least the weather is nicer so I've been doing some gardening and yard work.
