  First of all, a huge thank you to Gaynor! You are such an inspiration, and you gave me the courage to create my vision of the woman I want to become.
  
  My name is Ioanna, I live in Germany and I’m 46 years old, I live in Germany, and I’ve just returned from a trip to Canada. While spending time alone in the forest, I did a lot of thinking about my dreams and goals.
  
  Today, for the very first time, I’m saying this out loud:
  
  My dream is to step on stage at a Bikini Fitness competition in October 2027.
  
  To get there, I won’t just have to lose 27 kg (60 lbs). I’ll have to transform my entire being.
  
  A little background…
  
  Nine years ago, I had an accident that injured my spine. For the next eight years, I could barely walk. I lived with constant pain, depended on strong medication, and felt trapped in a body that no longer felt like mine. Every doctor told me I had to accept my condition and learn to live with it. But deep down, I couldn’t accept that. I kept believing there had to be another way.
  
  For eight years, I searched all over the world for healing. In April 2025, I finally found the path that changed everything.
  
  Today, I can walk again. I’m completely off all medication, and now it’s time to create the strongest version of myself, because I want to become a lighthouse of change.
  
  My current body, shown in the photo on the right, is the visible result of those eight years.
  
  This challenge is the beginning.
