Indeed. Those little babies will make you blood sugar spike big time and then mess with your insulin level and can sabotage your weight loss efforts! Good job staying away! The reality is that your co-workers probably think they are just doing something nice sharing a breakfast "treat" and don't understand that they are potentially putting something that might be harmful for their colleagues. Stay strong and pass on the high empty carb bagels!

Very true!! Although I follow a low carb approach, I will splash out on a special occasions...so that means, bagels only in NYC, from Ess-a-bagel, with a schmear and lox...because yes... I am a tourist :)...I think that's pretty safe, since I only visit once or twice a year :) Congratulations on staying strong!!!
