I just barely made my goal (like, by one decimal place!) and that felt good, but I didn’t realize the impact a handful of pounds can make until I compared my before and after photos. So while this challenge is numbers-based, don’t forget to celebrate your non-scale victories too :)

I'm ok with it. I have to stop myself from negating the compliment..I usually want to start talking about how much more I need to lose or stressing about if I'll gain it back.

Makes me feel weird either way. I feel weird if they comment I gained weight and feel weird if they say I lost weight. All I think is, stop looking at me. It's none of your business.

I tried finding the answer to this question but the get help buttons are giving me an error message. It’s been a while since I did one of these bets. What is the maximum percentage you can lose in them? I know the minimum is 4%, but I can’t remember the max.

Yes, it's 12%! DietBet wants to encourage players to practice safe and steady weight loss. Huge drops in 4 weeks would be very unhealthy and unsustainable. We want everyone to be healthy, most of all! :)

I think if you click on their name, look to the right side of the page where it says "cheerboard"; you can send them a message.

I don't know about others, but I have been failing nutrition wise every weekend. Last week, it took me almost an entire week to just get back to where I started. And even though I tried harder this weekend, I'm still 2 pounds up from Friday. I can't seem to get my eating under control, and it's consuming me. Anyone have any advice? Or honestly words of encouragement. Thank you! ❤

Also, if you don’t already have one, get a kitchen scale to weigh your portions out. It’s a game changer!

The point with a kitchen scale is great. I eat 90% healthy food, but just too much of it! When I am at home

I see your point - couldn't help myself when colleagues brought cookies to work or if there is a buffet

I am in a couching / phycological therapy. And my therapist has tought me to think every time you are offered smth:


I WILL PROFIT FROM NOT EATING THIS FOOD!
It was such an insight. So simple but genius. I always had mixed feelings from being proud of getting smth for free just because it's free and being upset because of useless calories
