How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • Day 5 of my fast (fast mimicking program, anyway) and down 6 pounds! I know that all 6 won't stay off for good right now, and I have to be careful tomorrow not to stuff my face with tacos and guacamole and margaritas ;) but I know I can manage to keep off at least half of that weight, and then keep working to get the remaining 20 I have to go (by October, for my personal goal). The other positive of this fast-mimicking diet is that by day 5, hunger doesn't hit so hard anymore. Reminding me that hunger is often a state of mind... ;)

I am doing the Prolon 5 day fasts too. Did you succeed at keeping 1/2 off? I seem to need a fast each month to meet goal. I’m 55, so not sure if it’s my age or if I’m messing things up with the fasts. I’m hopeful the non scale benefits are occurring too or instead.
