- Day 5 of my fast (fast mimicking program, anyway) and down 6 pounds! I know that all 6 won't stay off for good right now, and I have to be careful tomorrow not to stuff my face with tacos and guacamole and margaritas ;) but I know I can manage to keep off at least half of that weight, and then keep working to get the remaining 20 I have to go (by October, for my personal goal). The other positive of this fast-mimicking diet is that by day 5, hunger doesn't hit so hard anymore. Reminding me that hunger is often a state of mind... ;)
