Ugh. I am traveling for work right now, and met with family while I'm traveling, too. Needless to say, tracking calories or even THINKING about being conscious about food these last 3 days hasn't been a thing. But what makes matters worse is that I KNEW this trip was coming so even for the last 10 days leasing UP to this trip, I was just like "whatever, I have a trip coming anyway, it doesn't matter what I do right now". Of course I know it does. EVERY day matters, every choice matters. But it is SO easy to slip back into the mindset of 'oh, I'll do it later'. Ughhhhh

Let me tell you a secret on how to slip out of the mindset and how to slip back into the mindset of doing what's good for your life now. I want you to take a moment and think about what I just said and why you do that. Take a deep breath and then I want you to do this five more times and as you're doing this, think of the present. That's how you stop yourself from slipping back into these cycles of just I'll do it later or just it's coming up. We'll take care of it soon. You got this. You already said so yourself. It starts with a choice plays. Good habits to build up to those good choices that you going to make for the rest of your life. Stay alive!

Food tracking is essential for me...but so annoying, especially when out of normal routine. Then I stop measuring/logging and figure I'll start over tomorrow. Not a good pattern. This week I want to commit to tracking what I CAN. One meal doesn't have to mean the entire day/weekend. We've got this.
