  • We've had a crazy few days between celebrating our foster son's first birthday and several huge adjustments with his mama's situation. It's been a rollercoaster of a weekend-week start.
    The party is over, our more hectic playdates for the week are over, and I'm actively working to prep ahead for great success with what remains of this week.
    I'm still working to lean into intermittent fasting (per recommendations from my local RDN and "Fast Like a Girl" instructions on tying it to female hormonal cycles.) so far, it's been helpful in retraining me not to take bites, licks and tastes and I did see a good response on the scale the first week. I'm hopeful!

Totally! But for some reason having the additional info on what happens DURING the fasting periods and working to extend them a couple hours has made a big difference for me
