How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

SERIOUSLY

A good giggle :) but on a serious note, I’ve found a lot of the food neutrality concepts helpful in losing weight, having a healthy relationship with food, and feeding my kiddos. Obviously some foods are more nutrient dense than others, and our bodies function better when nutritional needs are met. However, I try not to see any food as inherently “good”, “bad”, or “junk”, and we are not being “good” or “bad” by eating certain foods. It’s a fine line. I believe we should treat our bodies well & not be gluttonous, but eating disorders run in my family & it can be beneficial for my weight loss and mental health if I have no guilt over eating 40 mini marshmallows and a chocolate bar (especially when I’m still in a calorie deficit).
